LASIK EYE SURGERY CONSULTATION
A complete medical history will be taken, which will include any medical conditions you may have, medications being taken, allergies, and a your vision correction history. You will need to inform the LASIK Surgeon of any eye conditions or diseases that have been diagnosed or treated in your family.
It is important that you discuss your reasons for wanting LASIK Eye Surgery with the Refractive Surgery Coordinator and LASIK Surgeon. Specifically, which activities would you like to be able to enjoy with glasses or contact lenses. |

A variety of measurements will be taken by a technician. These include a digital map of your corneal shape, a visual acuity test (judging how you see both with and without your glasses), a measurement of your pupils and your prescription will be measured before and after having drops placed in your eyes. Finally, the thickness of your cornea will be measured to ensure you are a good candidate for LASIK.
